PERFECT HARD-COOKED EGGS

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place eggs in saucepan that is large enough to hold them in a single layer and cover with 1 1/2" cold water.
2. Add a little salt to the wataer to set the egg white more quickly and seal any cracks that may occur
3. Bring the water to a boil. Cover the pan and turn off the heat. Let stand for 15". Set a timer to avoid overcooking eggs.
4. Rinse under cold running water for about 5" to cool them quickly and avoid a grayish-freen ring around the yolk.
5. Store hard cooked eggs in refrigerator for up to 2 days.
