Nuts - Maple Glazed in the crockpot

  • 3/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
  • 3 cups (12 oz) pecan halves

Preparation

Step 1

Combine the maple and corn syrups in the slow cooker. Cover and set on HIGH for 30 minutes to warm and thin the sweeteners.

Add the nuts carefully to avoid splashing and stir with a wooden spoon to coat evenly. Cover and cook on HIGH for another 15 minutes.

Reduce the heat to LOW, uncover, and cook, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Transfer the nuts to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil and let cool completely. Store at room temperature in an airthight container for up to 3 days.
