HERSHEY BROWNIES

I first had these when they were made for me on my birthday at InterMed Consultants by Jan Humenik.

Ingredients

  • Sift together:
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup plus 4 tablespoons flour
  • Add:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 can Hershey chocolate syrup
  • 4 eggs
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts
  • FROSTING:
  • 6 tablespoons softened butter
  • 6 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes.

Use a 9” x 13” pan for a “brownie cake” or jellyroll pan for regular brownie.

For frosting, boil for 30 seconds. Remove from heat and add ½ cup chocolate chips and a handful of marshmallows.
Beat until creamy with an electric mixer.
