• 1/2 pint fresh strawberries, halved
• 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1/4 teaspoon dried tarragon
• 1/4 teaspoon white sugar
