Italian Beef Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 4 lb. Brisket
  • 5 Garlic Cloves
  • 1 1/2 T. Basil
  • 1 1/2 T Oregano
  • 1 C. Water
  • 1 envelope Dry Onion Soup Mix
  • 12 Italian Rolls or Sandwich buns

Preparation

Step 1

Place brisket and garlic in slow cooker. Combine basil, oregano & water, and pour over roast. Sprinkle with soup mix. Cook on low heat 7-8 hours.

Remove meat & shred with a fork. Keep warm. Strain broth & skim off fat. Serve on rolls & use broth for dipping.
