Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb. very lean steak cut in small cubes
- 2 lg green peppers cut in small chunks
- 1 lg. red sweet peppers cut in small chunks
- 2 lg sweet onions in small chunks
- 1 can sliced water chestnuts (drained)
- 1-2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- Opt: Add 1/2 c. low-salt beef broth
Preparation
Step 1
Heat wok or fry pan to very ot. Add 2 tbsp oil and steak chunks. Brown meat and remove from pan to platter. Cook onions until soft. Cover while cooking. Remove onions from pan. Stir fry gr+rd peppers to crispy tender. Do not overcook. Add 1 can water chestnuts (and brother for boullion). Return meat and onions to skillet and heat through. Serve over rice. Season with soy sauce.
