Ingredients
- 3 Tbs butter
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 9 canned pineapple slices
- 5 maraschino cherries
- 1 1/2 cups of sifted flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/3 cup of shortening
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
- 2/3 cup milk

Step 1
heat oven to 350
melt butter in pan
sprinkle brown sugar
arrange pineapples and cherries
set pan aside
sift flour, baking powder, salt 2 time
mix shortening and sugar til light and fluffy
add egg and beat
add vanilla/mix in flour
add milk
bake 40 min
