Simple Stove-Top Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1 C chopped onion
  • 1 C chopped celery, with leaves
  • 1/3 C butter
  • 1 T parsley flakes
  • 1 1/2 tsp poultry seasoning
  • 1 tsp chicken bouillon powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 C stale white bread slices, cubed

Preparation

Step 1

Saute onion and celery in butter in frying pan over medium for about 5 minutes until onion is soft.

Mix next 5 ingredients in small bowl. Add to onino mixture. Heat and stir for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add bread cubes. Stir for about 2 mintues until bread has absorbed liquid.
