Ingredients
- 3/4 cup (1-1/2 sticks) butter or margarine softened
- 1-1/2 cups firmly packed light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 package (6 oz.) white baking chocolate chopped
- 1 cup Macadamia nuts toasted and coarsely chopped
- 2 tablespoons grated lime peel
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 13x9” baking pan with foil extending over edges to form handles. Grease foil. Beat butter and sugar with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Blend in eggs, flour and baking powder. Stir in white chocolate, nuts and lime peel. Spread in prepared pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan. Lift out of pan using foil handles. using 3” snowflake cookie cutters (or any other shape) cut into snowflakes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Save scraps for snacking.
