Ingredients

  • 2/3 c dry bread crumbs
  • 1 c milk
  • 1 1/2 ground beef & pork mixture
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 grated onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp sage
  • dash pepper

Preparation

Step 1

Beat egg, add milk and crumbs to soak. Stir in meat, onion and seasonings. Form into loaf, put in bread pan and spread with piquant sauce. (We like to stuff a chunk of cheese inside the meat loaf)

Piquant sauce;

3 Tbsp brown sugar,1/4 c ketchup
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1 tsp dry mustard

Bake 350 degrees about 1 hour
