Multigrain Bread

A great bread full of different grains made easy in the bread machine

Ingredients

  • 3 cups water
  • 8 Tb butter, softened
  • 4 Tb brown sugar
  • 4 Tb molasses
  • 1/2 cup cracked (bulgar) wheat
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 4 Tb powdered milk
  • 1/2 cup rice or soy flour
  • 1/2 cup cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup rye flour
  • 1/2 cup amaranth or barley flour
  • 2/3 cup oat flour
  • 5 cups bread flour
  • 2 lg eggs beaten
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tb yeast

Preparation

Step 1

Put ingredients in bread machine. Set on dough cycle. When done turn out dough & fold. Shape into loaves & let rest for 45-60 min. Slash loaves, brush w/ cornstarch wash & top w/ oats or seeds bake in steamed oven at 375 degrees for 30 min.
