Easy French Apple Squares

Ingredients
- 1 c. original bisquick mix
- 1/2 c.packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. cold butter or margarine
- 3/4 cups chopped nuts
- Fruit Mixture
- 6 cups sliced peeled tart apples(6 med.)
- 2 tsps. ground cinnamon'1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 c. bisquick mix
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine,melted
- 4 eggs,beaten

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350
Spray 13x9 pan with cooking spray
In med. bowl,mix 1c. bisquick mix and te brown sugar.
Cut in 1/4c. butter.
Using pastry blender until crumbly;set aside.
In lg. bowl,mix apples,cinnamon and nutmeg;spoon into pan.
In med. bowl,stir remaining ingredients until well blended.
Pour mixture over apples.
Sprinkle with streusel mixture.
BaKE 45-55 MINS. OR UNTIL KNIFE INSERTED IN CENTER COMES OUT CLEAN AND TOP IS GOLDEN BROWN.
cOOL 30 MINS. OR UNTIL SET BEFORE CUTTING INTO SQUARES.
