Remedy For A Cold (Haldi Doodh)

I ripped this out of a magazine but Im not sure which one. It was a Q&A small article. Im posting it so if I lose the clipping I'll still have it...

- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric, ground
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1 pinch black pepper

Directions
1. Bring water and milk to a boil; add turmeric and
minced ginger and honey and a pinch of black
pepper.
2. Let simmer for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
3. Let cool before drinking.
4. Enjoy twice daily until your cold is gone.
