Ingredients
- 2 lb. your favorite potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. sea salt
- 1 Tbsp. granulated garlic
- pepper, to taste
- Dried minced onions or minced fresh onions, to taste
- 3-4 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or marble)
- 1 qt. low fat milk
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x12 baking dish.
Peel potatoes and slice thin.
Layer 1/3 of the potatoes in the prepared pan. Sprinkle with 1/3 of the salt, garlic, pepper, onions, cheese and milk. R3epeat with 2 more layers.
Bake until the potatoes are tender, 60-90 minutes.
For a creamier dish, add a can of cream of mushroom soup to the milk.
