Ingredients
- 1/2 cup onion -- minced
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 1 clove garlic -- minced
- 1/2 cup catsup
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 pound chipped ham -- thinly sliced

Preparation
Step 1
Cook onions in shortening on med. heat until soft (but not brown)
Add remaining ingredients, EXCEPT HAM
Mix thoroughly
Bring to boil, reduce heat to a simmer for 10 minutes
Add chipped ham and heat
Serve on buns
NOTES : For a party, place in crock pot on low
