OATMEAL RAISIN COOKIES

I found that 10 minutes was too long but I know I have a hot oven so you might have to experiment a bit..

Ingredients
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 3/4 c. lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 T water
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. all purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 3 c. oats
- 1-1 1/2 c. raisins

Preparation
Step 1
cream butter, sugars, egg, water and vanilla together on medium speed until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, soda and cinnamon. Add to creamed mixture, beating on low speed until blended. Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop dough onto greased cookie sheets – if a crispy cookie is desired, press dough flat.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes – or until edges are golden – do not overcook.
(can substitute whole wheat flour – and/or chocolate chips)
