  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 1 T water
  • 1/2 inch fresh ginger peeled and grated
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 2 t cornstarch
  • 1 lb. beef steak, pork tenderloin,or boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 1 Tolive oil
  • 4- 6 cups mixed vegs ( onions, bell peppers, celery, carrots, broccoli,cauliflower) chopped
  • 1/4 cups peanuts, almond or cashews chopped.


Servings 6


Step 1

In a small bowl, mix togethervery sauce, water ginger, garlic and cornstarch
Set aside
Heat frying pan to med-high and add 2 T oil.
Add meat
Cook, stirring for 3 mins. or until meat is browned and cooked through.
Remove to plate.
Add 1 T oil and vegs to frying pan and cook on medium-high, stirring constantly for 3 - 5 mins or until vegs are tender crisp.
Reduce heat to medium-low.
Stir in cooked meat and soy sauce mixture. Stir until sauce thickens, 2 -3 mins.
