- 3 T soy sauce
- 1 T water
- 1/2 inch fresh ginger peeled and grated
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 2 t cornstarch
- 1 lb. beef steak, pork tenderloin,or boneless skinless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
- 1 Tolive oil
- 4- 6 cups mixed vegs ( onions, bell peppers, celery, carrots, broccoli,cauliflower) chopped
- 1/4 cups peanuts, almond or cashews chopped.
In a small bowl, mix togethervery sauce, water ginger, garlic and cornstarch
Heat frying pan to med-high and add 2 T oil.
Cook, stirring for 3 mins. or until meat is browned and cooked through.
Remove to plate.
Add 1 T oil and vegs to frying pan and cook on medium-high, stirring constantly for 3 - 5 mins or until vegs are tender crisp.
Reduce heat to medium-low.
Stir in cooked meat and soy sauce mixture. Stir until sauce thickens, 2 -3 mins.
