Chocolate Chip Overload Cookies

Enormous amount of chocolate chips in these absolutely delicious cookies!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • slightly
  • 1 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 large eggs, cold
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 3-12 oz bags semisweet chocolate chips

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Line 2 sheet pans with parchment and set aside.

In a bowl mix flour, baking soda and salt until well combined. Set aside.

In the bowl of an electric mixer, cream the butter and 2 sugars untilmixed but not fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well. Add vanilla and stir to combine.

Pour in the flour mixture and stir until flour is almost absorbed, then add chocolate chips and mix until chocolate chips are incorporated and no flour remains.

Scoop dough into one inch balls onto prepared sheets.

Bake 15-20 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

Allow cookies to cool on pan for 3 minutes on pan before removing them to wire rack to cool completely.

Can store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to one month!
