Nutty Pound Cake

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 1 tsp. almond extract
  • 2 cups flour, divided
  • 2 cups chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and sugar in a bowl. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla, butter and almond flavorings. Add 1-3/4 cups flour and beat well. Combine remaining flour with pecans and fold into batter. Bake in sprayed, floured Bundt pan for 70 - 75 minutes. Cool, remove cake from pan and dust with powdered sugar. Serves 12 - 16.
