Crusty Garlic Bread

Ingredients
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 c flat leaf parsley leaves lightly packed
- 1/3 c walnut
- 1/3 c grated Parmesan
- 1 t dried basil
- 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 t oil
- 1 lb loaf of Italian bread

Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 400. Drop the garlic into a food processor or blender and process until finely chopped. Add the parsley, walnuts, Parmesan, basil and salt. Process until the parsley and walnuts are finely chopped.
With processor running, gradually add the oil. Process and scrape the side down occasionally, until the mixture is smooth.
With a serrated knife, cut the bread in half horizontally. Spread the herb topping over the cut sides of the bread. Wrap each half loosely in foil.
Bake the bread until heated through about 15-18 min. Unwrap the top of the bread and bake for another 3 min. Cut each half into 2 inch slices and serve warm.
