Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 2 tbsp milk
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups lightly salted chopped cashews

Preheat oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar and cream cheese until fluffy. Add egg, milk and vanilla extract; mix until smooth. In another large bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add dry ingredients to creamed mixture; stir until a soft dough forms. Fold in cashews. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Transfer to a greased baking sheet. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light brown. Cool completely on a wire rack. Store in an airtight container.
