Ingredients
- 1 Cup Lard
- 2 Cups Sugar
- 2 Eggs, beaten
- 1 Cup Sour Milk
- 2 1/2 Cups Flour
- 2 tsp. Soda
- 2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 5 tbs. Cocoa
- Pinch of Salt
- 1 Cup Boiling Water

Cream lard and sugar, then add eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture. Last, add boiling water. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until baked.
