Ingredients
- 4 green bell peppers
- or 2 large bell peppers cut in half length wise
- 1 pound lean ground beef, ground round
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 - 2 eggs well beaten
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- dash Worcestershire sauce
- 16 oz can of tomato sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Bring pot of water to a boil. Add trimmed peppers and boil for 5 minutes. Set in casserole dish.
Mix together beef, cooked rice, onion, egg(s), paste, Worcestershire, salt & pepper and stuff peppers.
Pour 14 oz can of tomato sauce over all and bake one hour to one hour and 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
