    cup butter

  • 1/3

    cup sugar

  • 2

    tsp. water

  • 2

    tsp. vanilla

  • 2

    cups flour

  • 1

    cup ground nuts (almonds or pecans)

Directions

cream butter and sugar. add water and vanilla. blend in flour and nuts. chill 4 hours. shape into balls and flatten. bake on ungreased cookie sheets at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. cool and roll in powdered sugar.
