Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1 cup margarine
• 4 Tbs. cocoa powder
• 1 cup water
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1/2 cup buttermilk

Preparation

Step 1

Sift together sugar and flour. Melt margarine, cocoa, and water and bring to a boil. Pour over flour and sugar. Mix well. In small bowl, beat eggs. Add soda, vanilla, and buttermilk. Add to previous mixture. Put in jelly roll pan or cookie sheet. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes.
