Ingredients

  • Butter flavored spray
  • 1 1 1 cup thinly sliced onion
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 c thinly sliced green pepper
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 c thinly sliced red pepper
  • 2 2 2 T water
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 t pepper
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 c thinly sliced reduced sodium turkey breast
  • 4 4 4 slices reduced fat provolone
  • 4 4 4 whole wheat buns

Preparation

Step 1

1. Heat a large nonstick pan over medium high heat. Coat pan with spray. Add onion and peppers. Coat veggies with cooking spray. Sauté 5 minutes or until they are tender. Add water. Cook until liquid evaporates, scraping pan to loosen browned bits. Stir in black pepper. Remove pan from heat.
2. Arrange turkey and cheese evenly over veggies. Cover with lid. Let stand 1 minute or until cheese melts.
3. Divide mixture evenly over buns. Serve immediately.
