Ingredients
- 2 Cups sugar
- 1/2 Cup butter (1 stick)
- 1/2 Cup milk
- 1/2 Cup COCOA (DUTCH PROCESS)
- 2 Cups rolled oats (or old-fashioned oatmeal)
- 1 tsp. PURE VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 Cup chopped pecans
- 1 Cup coconut flakes
Preparation
Step 1
Place the sugar, butter and milk into a large pot. Boil for 3 minutes. Add the COCOA, oatmeal, VANILLA, nuts and coconut. Beat quickly while hot. Drop by the spoonful onto a baking sheet lined with waxed paper or parchment paper. Let cool before serving.
