Snicker Doodles

Ingredients

  • 1 C butter
  • 1 1/2 C sugar ( plus 2 T sugar)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 3/4 C flour
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 2 t cream of tartar
  • 2 t salt
  • 2 t cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Mix butter, sugar(1 1/2 C) & eggs.
Mix dry ingredients separate, then add to the rest gradually.
Mix until fluffy.
Form dough balls the size of walnuts ( it helps to refrigerate dough for a few mins before rolling).
Roll in 2 T sugar & 2 t cinnamon mixture.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 2 in. Apart at 400* for 8-10 mins.
