OATS COOKIES

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 cups of quaker oats
  • 1 cup of brown sugar
  • ½ cup of butter
  • ½ cup of Crisco
  • ½ cup of milk

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix first five ingredients.
2. Melt butter and shortening and mix to dry ingredients.
3. Incorporate milk and mix well.
4. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
5. Roll to ¼ on a floured surface.
6. Place on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 from 10-15 minutes
