Ingredients

  • 12 12 12 oz ground turkey
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 c chopped onions
  • 1 1 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 15 1 15 1 15 oz can red kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 8 1 8 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 1 8 1 8 1 8 oz can stewed tomatoes, chopped
  • 3/4 3/4 3/4 c macaroni
  • 1/4 1/4 1/4 c water
  • 2 2 2 t chili powder
  • 1 1 1 t cumin
  • 1/3 1/3 1/3 c shredded cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Brown beef, onions and garlic in nonstick skillet. Drain and discard liquid. Stir in the beans, tomatoes, sauce, macaroni, water, chili powder, and cumin. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes. Stir well then cover and simmer 10 minutes longer. Sprinkle with cheese.
