Ingredients
- 6 pork chops
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 2 cups onions sliced
- 3 lbs. potatoes sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can (10-1/2 oz. can) chicken broth
- 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Sprinkle chops with salt and pepper. Mel margarine or butter in large skillet. Brown chops on all sides. Place in shallow casserole. Cook onions in fat left in pan 3-4 minutes until golden brown, stirring often. Mix onions, potatoes, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Place over chops. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over potatoes. Bake covered 40 minutes.
