  • 1/2 c butter, 3/4 c white sugar, 1 egg, beaten, 1 T lemon Zest, 2 t lemon juice, 1 t baking powder, , 1/4 t baking soda, 1/4 t salt, 1 2/3 c flour, 1/2 whole milk
  • Topping: 1/4 c lemon juice, 3/4 c powdered sugar

Step 1

Beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add beaten egg, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Mix. Mix in half the flour and half the milk. Stir, and then add remaining flour and milk. Mix well. Drop by teaspoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Make the cookies small, about the size of a cherry. Bake at 350 for 12-14 minutes
