- 1
Ingredients
- 1 stock asparagus
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & Pepper
- 1/4 – 1/3 cup grated Parmesan Cheese (fresh is best!)
- 1/2 tsp. Garlic salt (optional)
Preparation
Step 1
*Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a cookie sheet with baking foil and lightly spray with vegetable spray, such as PAM. After rinsing and breaking off the small pieces of the bottom stems (if you don’t already know, just simply hold your asparagus and snap the bottom…it will automatically break the stem in the right place! Neat eh?), line your cookie sheet with the asparagus side by side. Lightly drizzle with oil, salt and pepper (and optional garlic salt) to taste and sprinkle with desired amount of Parmasen Cheese. Bake in oven for about 10 minutes or until cheese starts to brown.
For some added flavour, you could even sprinkle some dried cranberries (or Craisins!) or softened garlic cloves. Adds some extra colour and sweetness. So fast and easy, with little to no mess!
TIP: This can easily be done on the BBQ as well, just wrap in foil and cook on Medium heat for up to 10 minutes! Be sure to spray foil first to avoid sticking.
Enjoy!
