Ingredients

  • 4 c sliced peaches
  • 1 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 c sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Pastry for double crust

Preparation

Step 1

Add lemon juice to peaches. Mix sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Add to peaches. Toss till well coated. Put into pastry lined pan. Dot with butter and cover with top crust and seal edges. Make slits in top to let steam escape. Bake @ 450 degrees 10 minutes then @ 350 degrees 30 to 40 minutes. Cool.
