  • Sugar
  • Marachino cherries
  • Everclear
  • Water

Preparation

Step 1

In electric skillet on high heat, brown 3/12 cups sugar, stirring constantly so it won't burn. When melted add 4 cups water all at once. Keep stirring till it is all melted again. Remove from heat and pour into large bowl. Add 8 cups water and 1 quart 190 proof alcohol. Add 2 jars maraschino cherries with juice. Pour into bottles and seal.
