Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup "milk"
- 1/4 cup nut butter
- 1/4 cup vegan margarine
- 2 tsp unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1 cup walnuts, finely chopped
Preparation
Step 1
Place a sheet of parchment paper or wax paper on cookie sheet and set aside. In a medium saucepan on medium-low heat, melt the sugar, vanilla, "milk", nut butter, margarine, and cocoa powder. Once melted, remove from heat and add the oats and walnuts. Stir until well blended. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough onto cookie sheet, press down flat with your fingers, and repeat process until dough is gone. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
