Ingredients
- 1 pound spaghetti
- 1 large clove garlic, minced
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1 red fresno chili, minced
- 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (4 large lemons), plus all of the lemon zest from those lemons, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 cup freshly chopped parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Put the spaghetti in the water, and cook until al dente.
In the mean time, whisk together the garlic, shallot, chili, lemon juice and zest and olive oil. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Drain the pasta and transfer it to a large bowl.
Pour the sauce over the pasta and add the fresh herbs. Toss to coat the pasta. Season to taste with salt and pepper, and if needed another squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Serve immediately!
