Ginger candied carrots

  • 12 carrots, peeled and cut 1 inch
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tea ground ginger
  • 1/2 tea caraway



Step 1

1. Place the carrots in pan and adds water till covered. Cook the carrots 25-30 minutes.
2. Melt butter in pan. Add brown sugar, ginger, and caraway. Mix and set aside.
3. Poor mixture over carrots. Cool over low heat for 5 minutes.
4. Serve.
