Flourless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. bittersweet chocolate
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 large eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Cut out parchment paper to line 8-inch springform pan
In double boiler melt chocolate and butter
Remove from heat - whisk in sugar
Add eggs and whisk well
Sift 1/2 cup cocoa powder over chocolate mix and combine
Pour batter into pan and bake 25 min or until top has formed a thick crust
Cool on rack 5 min
Them remove to cake plate
Serve with sorbet (raspberry)
