  • Blackberries to fill a 9 x 13 baking pan 3/4 to the top
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1/4 lb butter or cookable margarine, in pats
  • water
  • 1 Tbsp lemon juice or water

Step 1

Fill 9 x 13 glass cooking pan with blackberries. Dump cake mix over the top, dotting with pats of butter or margarine. sprinkle with lemon juice or a little water to moisten. Bake at 350 F approximately 20 minutes until butter melts and topping is a bit crunchy.
