Lucia's Rice Pudding

Ingredients

  • Once cooked:
  • One quart 1% milk
  • 1 cup rice
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Handful of raisins

Preparation

Step 1

Combine milk, rice, sugar and vanilla in a saucepan and cook over low heat until creamy.

When creamy, add beaten egg and handful of raisins and continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes.

Serve warm or chilled. Store in refrigerator.
