Mango Smoothie with Turmeric

  • 1/2 cup cashews, soaked in a cup of water for 4 to 6 hours
  • 3/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
  • 2 cups frozen mango (284 g package)
  • 2 teaspoons peeled and chopped fresh turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon peeled and chopped fresh ginger, optional
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup coconut water or water, plus more to get desired consistency
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract

Step 1

Drain and rinse cashews, and place them in an upright blender. Add remaining ingredients and blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
