Ingredients

  • 1 quart Half-and-Half
  • 8 Eggs
  • 1 cup Bourbon
  • 1 cup Rum
  • 1/2 cup Brandy
  • 2 cups Whipping Cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • Freshly grated Nutmeg

Preparation

1 cup Bourbon
1 cup Rum
1/2 cup Brandy

instructions Beat egg yolks, sugar and salt until thick and lemon-colored. Gradually add bourbon, Rum, and brandy, beating constantly.

ingredients 1 quart Half-and-Half
2 cups Whipping Cream

instructions Combine half-and-half and whipping cream, and beat into the egg yolk mixture.

ingredients Freshly grated Nutmeg

instructions Whip egg whites until soft peaks form. Gently fold into egg yolk mixture. Stir in salt and chill thoroughly. Grate fresh nutmeg on top before serving.
