Baked Ziti

Creamy, easy to bake ahead and refrigerate for up to 8 hours. Then bake uncovered for 35 minutes to heat.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups ziti pasta
  • 1 jar (26 ounces) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes (undrained)
  • 6 ounces cream cheese, cubed
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella
  • 1/3 cup grated parmesan

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375. Cook pasta in a large saucepan. Remove from pan and drain. Add marinara sauce, tomatoes and cream cheese to pan, cook on medium heat until cream cheese is melted (5 minutes) until mixture is well-blended with frequent stirring. Return pasta to pan, mix well.
Layer half pasta mixture in 13x9 baking dish, cover with layers of sour cream, mozzarella and remaining pasta. Top with mozzarella and parmesan. Bake 20 minutes until heated through.
