Sirloin, Zucchini, and Cherry Tomato Kabobs

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c Worcestershire
  • 1/4 c dry red wine
  • 2 t Italian seasoning
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 1 T olive oil
  • 1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 24 pieces
  • 2 medium zucchini, cut into 3/4 inch thick slices

Preparation

Step 1

Heat grill. In resealable food storage bag, combine Worcestershire sauce, wine, Italian seasoning, salt and oil. Mix well. Add steak and toss to coat. Seal bag and let stand for 15 minutes at room temperature to marinate. When ready to grill, alternately thread steak, zucchini, and tomatoes evenly onto either 8 inch metal skewers, reserve marinade. Place kabobs on grill on medium high heat. Brush with reserved marinade. Cover grill. Cook 5 minutes. Brush kabobs with reserved marinade. Turn and brush again. Cover grill; cook an additional 4-7 minutes or until steak is done. (tip: theard zucchini crosswise to protect them from sliding on skewers.)
