Ganache

Be sure brush crumbs off before frosting.
When frosting layers use tool in a circular motion and frosting out. Do not lift off spatular from cake. U will lift off cake crumbs & frosting.
I
Use a light coating of frosting on cake just to glaze it. Then prepare to frost cake in the usual manner.
Note: start on the top with a large amount of frosting

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- 6 ounces heavy cream
- 12 ounces dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Preparation
Step 1
In a small saucepan combine the corn syrup and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and add the chocolate. Stir until smooth. Remove from the heat and add the vanilla extract.
