Buster Bars

Ingredients

• 1 (15 oz) package Oreo cookies
• 1 stick butter or margarine, melted
• 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened
• Salted peanuts
• 2/3 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 2 cups powdered sugar
• 1 can evaporated milk
• 1 tablespoon vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1st layer:
Crush cookies
Add melted butter
Pat into 9x13 pan
Freeze 1 hour

2nd layer:
Spread softened ice cream over crust
Sprinkle with peanuts
Freeze

3rd layer:
Bring chocolate chips, powdered sugar, vanilla and milk to a boil
Boil for 8 minutes, stirring constantly
Cool completely
Spread on top of ice cream layer
Srinkle with more peanuts
Freeze

*Don't press the crust too firmly
