Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 loaf French bread, cut in half lengthwise
- 2-6 oz balls fresh mozzarella, sliced
- 1 Tbs chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Preparation
Step 1
Set oven rack on the bottom position and preheat the oven to 450.
Melt the butter in a pan with the garlic and bring to a simmer. Brush the garlic butter over the bread. Bake buttered bread for about 10 minutes for a crispy crust.
Remove from oven and place cheese slices on top of bread and sprinkle with the chopped parsley. Return to oven and continue baking for about 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.
