Ingredients
- 2 pounds chicken wings, split at the joints
- 1/4 C Frank's Red Hot sauce
- 1 T fresh lemon juice
- 3 Tbs chicken broth
- celery stalks/carrots to garnish
- Blue Cheese dressing
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat broiler
Place wings in a large pot and fill the pot with water to cover wings by about 2 inches.
Bring to a boil, then continue to boil for 10 minutes. Drain
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the Frank's Red Hot sauce, lemon juice and broth. Reserve.
Transfer wings to broiler pan and broil 5-6 minutes or until skin begins to blister and brown. Turn wings over and broil another 4-5 minutes to blister and brown stage
Transfer wings to a baking sheet, drizzle with reserved sauce and toss well to coat. Place baking sheet under broiler for 1 minute to heat wings and sauce together.
