Chicken Crescent Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 tube crescent rolls
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup (I make my own)
  • 1/2 small tub sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar
  • 1 – 2 pre-cooked breasts of chicken, cut or shredded
  • 1 cup milk

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350*.

Combine in bowl: chicken, milk, cheese, cream of chicken soup, and sour cream.

Pour chicken mixture into an 8×8 baking dish.

Slice crescent rolls into pinwheels (do not unroll, just slice down the roll).

Place pinwheels across top of chicken mixture.

Sprinkle a little cheddar on top if desired.

Cover with foil and bake for 20-30 minutes until chicken mixture is bubbling through and crescent rolls are golden brown.

To speed things up – once chicken mixture is combined, heat over stove or in the microwave until bubbly. Pour into dish. Cover with crescent roll pinwheels. Bake at 400* for 10 – 15 minutes until crescents are golden brown.
